Titans End of Season Dinner

On Friday the 1st of May the Titans final celebration of the season took place at the Phoenix club in Brinsworth. The largest ever attendance for the End of Season Dinner saw a packed room as the joy of winning National League One erupted.

The club were delighted to have in attendance John Inverdale, the Chair of National League rugby who spoke well of his history with Rotherham Titans, including breaking his arm whilst playing on Clifton Lane in 1981 (it does appear he is slightly disturbed by that!). John also heaped praise on the team and wished them well as they depart National League Rugby for the Champ.

Following the player and player support staffs’ entrance to a video and the teams ‘winning song’ Nick Cragg formally welcomed everyone and presented a number of clubhouse staff and volunteers with medals to thank them for their efforts during the championship winning season.

A hearty meal of homemade pie, chips and peas followed by sponge and custard was consumed before the presentation of the various awards. The award winners are listed below. The evening concluded with a DJ, and one would assume a few sore heads!

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening such a success.
