Titans add Welsh scrum half to squad

Rotherham Titans are pleased to announce the addition of scrum half Rhodri Davies to their squad ahead of the 2017/18 Championship season.

Rhodri, 25, began his career with Crymych RFC before joining Cardiff Met where he studied Sports Education. Rhodri has spent the last 4 seasons playing his club rugby for Llandovery RFC where in his 65 appearances he has scored an impressive 19 tries.

Davies has also represented his region, having gained three caps for the Scarlets and added to this Rhodri has been honoured by his country as he’s represented Wales on the Sevens circuit. His representative rugby doesn’t stop there as he’s also played for Wales Students and Great Britain Students 7s.

Haverfordwest born, Davies is an exciting addition to the Titans set-up and he will add stern competition for the scrum half’s jersey for the upcoming campaign.

Speaking ahead of his arrival at Clifton Lane Rhodri explained, "I’m really looking forward to linking up with Rotherham Titans and the challenges that lie ahead.

“After speaking to Andy Key it sounds like an exciting time to be involved and the way he's hoping to play the game will suit my style of play. I just can't wait to get started and put in the hard work."
