Tom Calladine to leave Clifton Lane

Rotherham Titans Captain Tom Calladine will leave the club at the end of the season to join up with Championship side Doncaster Knights.

Tom’s been at Rotherham for 3 years and was made Team Captain ahead of the current campaign. Tom has made 57 appearances for the club, scored 10 tries and has been a key and popular figure during his time in South Yorkshire.

Rotherham Titans would like to express its thanks to Tom for his diligent efforts and his valuable contribution to the club and we wish him well in his future career.

Commenting on his time at Rotherham Tom said, “I've enjoyed my time immensely at Rotherham and I can't thank everyone enough for the 3 years I've spent here.

“The work that goes off in the back ground by the staff and VP’s really is a credit to the club and has made playing here a pleasure.

“Being asked to skipper the side this season has been challenging at times but it's been an honour to lead the team out wearing the Roth jersey week in week out.

“A special mention must go to Fozzy who has took me under his wing and looked after me and I’d also like to say a massive thanks to “The Lads on the Steps” for sponsoring me throughout my time here.”
