Charity Cycle Ride for ex-Titan Cam O'Connor

This Saturday, 28th June, a group of players and supporters from Tabard RFC in Hertfordshire will be leaving Clifton Lane at 8am to cycle 180 miles all the way to their club near Radlett. This ride is in honour of Cameron O’Connor who passed away last year.

Cam played 36 games for Rotherham from 2007 t0 2009, alongside Titans legends such as Errie Claassens, Mike Whitehead, Kevin Maggs, and Ryan Burrows.

We would appreciate it if some some of our supporters and players could join us to present a shirt and a plaque to them at Clifton Lane before they set off on their long ride.

Here is the information they sent me:

We lost a close friend back in 2024 to cancer, Cameron O'Connor (Cam). Cam was not only our captain for many years but a teammate and a true friend. The club signed him from Titans Rugby back in 2008, he then went on to be the longest serving captain of the club and made over 350 appearances for Tabard RFC. From 2015 until he became player/coach until he retired in 2022. Cam was the most incredible bloke who fought a long hard battle and was courageous until the end. It's a privilege to take on this challenge in his honour and hopefully raise some money for this charity.
