Rotherham Hospice Presents the Fabulous Blu Crew Vocal Group at The Clubhouse on Friday 17th October.
The Fabulous Blu Crew Vocal Group were formed in 2009 when a group of friends decided they wanted to continue to perform together (having been involved with providing entertainment at a local Care Home) and to raise money for Charity in the process.
They have evolved over the years, moving away from a more traditional fundraising enterprise to an enthusiastic group of vocal harmony singers. You will find Them now performing at charity events to help raise awareness, much needed funds and occasionally simply people’s spirits.
Throughout the year they will perform at fundraising concerts, afternoon tea parties, birthdays, weddings, fun days, you name it! You’ll find they are particularly busy at Christmas where they perform at local retail venues such as Meadowhall. It’s a really big commitment and takes a lot of effort to sing Christmas songs on repeat for four weeks!
They have been asked many times over the years what Blu Crew stands for, in short, they are here to provide entertainment, joy, and sorely needed funds for local charities and are very proud of the work they do.
So, although their name started off as a connection to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice they want everyone to help their local Charities and have fun in the process, so now it’s a call to arms, they are the Be Like Us Crew!
