We are delighted to announce the signing of lock and loose forward James Brown, ahead of the new Championship season.
James comes with a seriously impressive background.
Coming through the Auckland age-grade system, he represented Auckland U18s before earning selection for the Blues U20s, one of New Zealand’s most prestigious rugby pathways ,where he lined up alongside some of the brightest young talent in the country.
After his time in the Blues system he represented Te Puna Rugby Sports and Cultural Club in the Bay of Plenty before making the move to Europe, where he went on to represent RGC in Wales.
Now he brings that experience, physicality and New Zealand rugby DNA to Rotherham Titans.
James had this to say on joining the club:
“I feel good. A new club, a new chapter and from everything I’ve seen, Rotherham is the right place to be. I can’t wait to get started.”
